Parks Canada and other collaborations
Jon Ross Films is proud to be the very first drone team, authorized by Park Canada to fly over Moraine Lake and Banff Regional Park (AB).
Our years of collaborations and the many locations flown allow us to better serve future clients with permissions and scouting. We have also built an elaborate stock footage library with footage from around the world.
Insurance and permits
One of the first things to check before you hire a drone operator for your production.
Jon Ross Films carries 5 million liability insurance, an industry standard for most productions or events.
With our advanced drone licensing and our specialized UAV parachute we can push the limits and have the ability to fly over people and roads.
Our pilots are certified drone operators and we can fly in the whole North America.
Depending on your location different permits may be required,
please get in touch with us ahead of time
to properly plan the shoot.
Weather conditions and cancellation policy
Weather is one of the biggest limits for drone. Thanks to our equipment we are able to fly in any conditions.
If shooting during a snow storm or a heavy rain is not in your intent though, please check our policy for cancellation:
3 days notice = complete refund of deposit or no charge
24h cancellation = 30% charge
same day cancellation = 50% charge + expenses
